Literacy Boot Camp (lower elementary)

Service Description

Back for another summer, Miss Lizzie’s Literacy Boot Camp will get your child ready to read and write in the new school year! Using methods rooted in The Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham, learners will interact with words and sounds to make meanings and connections with literacy. From creative handwriting practice to game-based fluency learning, kids will engage with reading and writing through a fresh, fun lens. Open to students working on/towards 1st and 2nd grade standards All reading abilities welcome! Please note that this camp is more academically focused than our August Back to School Camps, with an increased amount of time devoted to individualization and skill level. This is perfect for students who need a true boost over the summer.
