Kavita Maharajh-Ali holds a degree from the School of International Service at American University. Her primary thematic area is International Development, and her secondary is Comparative Governance. 

She has a certificate in Global Human Rights from the University of Pennsylvania’s Carey School of Law, and a certificate in Implementing Sustainable Development Goals from Foundation for Environmental Stewardship. 

Kavita is proficient in Chinese, Spanish, and English, and is taking on her fourth language, Czech. She has worked with NGOs centered around helping youth in a developmental capacity and loves inspiring children through teaching.
