TEAM MEMBER

Coach Michael Johnson is a DC native who received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Fitness Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and he has taught Physical Education in Washington, DC for more than 5 years. 

He has a tremendous passion for teaching children how to actively engage in learning different sporting activities, and for encouraging men of color to stay in the classroom. You can catch Coach Mike on the courts and fields at Volta Park coaching basketball and soccer!
